Chuck Berry – Johnny B. Goode (1958) (vidéo & paroles)

Chuck Berry (né Charles Edward Anderson Berry le 18 octobre 1926 et décédé le 18 mars 2017 à l’âge de 90 ans) est un guitariste et auteur-compositeur-interprète américain. Il est considéré comme étant l’un des pionniers de la musique rock ‘n’ roll. Plusieurs chansons de son répertoire vont être repris par d’autres artistes. 

Au départ, ce sont surtout les noirs qui ont développé le rock ‘n’ roll à partir du rhythm and blues mais ce sont les blancs qui vont être les premiers à commercialiser ce style.

Johnny B. Goode n’est pas le premier succès de Chuck Berry mais il fait partie de ses chansons les plus connus. Certains considèrent que c’est le morceau le plus digne pour représenter le rock ‘n’ roll.
