Eurytmics est un duo pop rock new wave britannique formé à Londres en 1980 avec Annie Lennox comme chanteuse et Dave Stewart.
En 1981, leur premier album est un échec. Il faudra attendre la sortie de leur 2e album en 1983 pour qu’ils puissent obtenir un succès au niveau international.
La chanson « Sweet Dreams » va entrer dans les hit-parades et amener le groupe à devenir extrêmement populaire.
La chanson se retrouve sur le second album du groupe « Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This) » sorti en 1983.
